Post breakfast pick up from hotel and head towards Mawlynnong. Here one can view the fascinating Living root bridge and Mawlynnong Village, Asia’s cleanest village. Later drive to Dawki. Visit Umngot river and local sightseeing at Dawki. Also visit International Bangladesh border. Evening back to Shillong for overnight stay in Shillong.
Morning start your journey towards Cherrapunjee, the heaviest rainfall destination in the world. On the way comes Mawkdok Valley where we will stop to explore Mawsmai Cave, Garden of cave. Further drive to visit Nohkalikai Falls, world’s fourth tallest waterfalls. Later visit Eco Park and Seven Sisters Falls. Post activity back to Shillong for overnight stay in Shillong.
Post breakfast transfer to Kaziranga National Park. Via Maha Mrityunjay Temple Orchid Garden sightseeing. Enjoy the night stay at Kaziranga.
Early morning (5:00 am) explore Kaziranga National Park on Elephant Safari. Coming back to hotel, having breakfast, then explore the central range OR eastern range range on a Jeep Safari where you will see Hog Deers, Sambhars and One horn Rhinos feeding in the plentiful. Post activity, return to hotel. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Morning after breakfast head to Dirang. Dirang is one such location that helps you rediscover yourself and be inspired. Site seeing in dirang includes Dirang Dzong, the ruin fort with architectural excellence, Hot Water Spring. Overnight stay in Dirang.
Morning after breakfast, check out & drive towards Tawang and on the way visit Sela Pass. Then check in at hotel, visit Tawang Monastery which is also known as Golden Namgyal Lhatse, one of the gems in Arunachal Pradesh. Then head towards Tawang War Memorial which is dedicated to all the martyrs of the Sino-India War of 1962 and Jaswant Garth which is dedicated to the warrior, Jaswant Singh who was killed during the Indo China war in 1962, overnight stay In Tawang.
After breakfast, the road to Bum La is also a historical route, the People's Liberation Army of China invaded India during the 1962 Sino-Indian War. Here in Bum La Pass one of the fiercest battles took place in the 1962 Sino-Indian War. Make a point to get a picture clicked and place a pebble stone in front of the Heap of Stones, which is a tribute to the Indian Army guardians of the border. Overnight stay at Tawang.
After breakfast, check out & proceed to Bomdila. Check in at prebooked hotel, visit Buddhist monasteries, a craft centre displaying local crafts and a shopping centre where the visitors gets first feel of the local version of Himalayan Buddhist life.
